NORTHERN SAFARI - AFRICAN SECRETS

Day 01- Kilimanjaro airport/Arusha
Our representative will pick you up from kilimanjaro airport (Tanzania) and transfer to the hotel. Informative session and description of the itinerary. Hotel accommodation. ( -.-.-.)

Day 02- Arusha/Lake Manyara
After breakfast depart to Lake Manyara National Park.This park is famous for the lions climbers that inhabits there. Lodge or camping accommodation. (B.L.D.)

Day 03- Lake Manyara/Lake Natron
After breakfast, depart with packed lunches to one of the most famous lakes in Tanzania because of the great quantity of flamingos that inhabits there. If the weather is good we could visit the cascade of Ngaresero. Bandas semi-luxury or camping accommodation. (B.L.D.)

Day 04- Lake Natron full day
Today, besides visiting the lake, we will visit the Ngaresero village where we will know their way of life. If we have time, we will visit a Boma Maasai and the primary school of the area.

(If we prefer we can carry out an optional trekking to the sacred mount of the Maasai "Oldonyo Lengai" with a peak that reaches the 2.894m. above sea level. The beginning of the trekking will be carried out after midnight. We should keep in mind that the difficulty of this trekking to Oldonyo Lengai is high and it is necessary to be well fit, if not, it is not advisable).

Day 05- Lake Natron/Serengeti
After breakfast depart to Serengeti National Park. We will cross near the Sonjo villages, the great enemies of the Maasai. We will enter into the park for its north gate. We will visit the park when we return from the lake Victoria. Lodge or camping accommodation. (B.L.D.)

Day 06- Serengeti/Lake Victoria
After breakfast, depart with packed lunches to the biggest lake in Africa, the lake Victoria. Hotel, bungalow or camping accommodation. (B.L.D.)

Days 07 & 08- Lake Victoria full day
Two days doing different activities as: canoe-trip on Lake Victoria to a fishing village, mountain-bike trip through Masamba Hills, lake cruise, bird walk ... Hotel, bungalow or camping accommodation. (B.L.D.)

Day 09- Lake Victoria/Serengeti
After breakfast depart to Serengeti National Park, game viewing on way. Lodge or camping accommodation. (B.L.D.)

Day 10- Serengeti full day
Full Day dedicated to explore the park, game viewing looking for the big five. In the afternoon we will enjoy the impressive sunshine in the savannah. Lodge or camping accommodation. (B.L.D.)

Day 11- Serengeti/Ngorongoro
After breakfast, we will have the last game viewing and depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area , on the way visiting the Olduvai Gorge. Optional meeting with a Boma Maasai. Lodge or camping accommodation. (B.L.D.)

Day 12 - Ngorongoro/Lake Eyasi
We are going to get up very early in the morning and after breakfast, descend down in the Ngorongoro Crater with packed lunches. Where more than 25.000 mammals inhabit, including the black rhino which are in extinction danger. After lunch, depart to lake Eyasi. Tented Lodge or camping accommodation. (B.L.D.)

Day 13- Lake Eyasi full day
We are going to get up very early in the morning to go hunting with the Bushman tribe. After Lunch, we are going to visit a Datoga village, to know how they live, their history and tradition. Tented Lodge or camping accomodation. (B.L.D.)

Day 14- Lake Eyasi/Tarangire
After breakfast depart to Tarangire National Park. This park is famous because of the large population of elephants that inhabits this sanctuary and the majestic and impressive baobab trees. Lodge, bandas or camping accommodation. (B.L.D.)

Day 15- Tarangire/Arusha
Game viewing in the mornig. After lunch drive back to Arusha. Hotel accommodation. (B,L, -)

Day 16- Arusha/Kilimanjaro Airport
Transfer to the airport. End of our services. (B, -, -)

If you fly to Nairobi (Kenya) the transfer to Arusha city (Tanzania) is with a bus of the Impala Shuttle company
The prices of the safari are calculated in dollars and the payment should be in dollars
We reserve the right to alter arrangements or cancel the operation of a schedule should it be necessary for reasons beyond our control
The accommodation will be confirmed in the moment to formalize the reservation and if they are not available we will substitute them by others of similar characteristic, in this case it could be some variation in the price as much to the rise as to the drop
