Zanzibar Island, together with Pemba, Latham and other small islands and islets form the Zanzibar archipelago, a true African paradise. There are more than 500 doors, many of which are older than the houses. Surprisingly, some doors have large brass spikes, which are of tradition from Indian, to avoid the attacks of the elephants.
